Here are some more current Debian packages for Kismet and GPSDrive than those in the official archives. Both have been compiled with SQL and GPS support. This will allow GPSDrive to draw up icons at the points where wireless networks are first discovered (Screenshot). These packages have been built for Debian Unstable/SID.

Notes:
In both kismet builds gpsmap fails to compile and is thus not included. This looks like it might be a problem with the libc6-dev package.

You will need to setup an SQL server and use the scripts found in /usr/share/doc/gpsdrive to created the needed tables.
